Studio Linen Erika Knight

Studio Linen Erika Knight es un hilo de verano,  85% viscosa, 15% lino reciclado. Para tejer con agujas 3,5-4,00 mm.

El lino es una fibra natural antigua y sostenible hilada a partir de la planta del lino. El lino es naturalmente resistente a las plagas y, por lo tanto, prácticamente no se necesitan pesticidas ni herbicidas para cultivar estas plantas de fibra de tallo ecológicas. Las plantas de lino producen grandes cantidades de fibra utilizable por acre y no requieren riego.

Para crear Studio Linen Erika Knight, las fibras de lino recicladas se seleccionan, se deshacen y se vuelven a hilar con un 15 % de fibras de lino natural de primera calidad para crear un hermoso y único hilo reciclado. Con un tacto seco, una caída fresca y un brillo sutil, un hilo que mejora con el uso y el tiempo. Una fibra antigua reciclada para un fabricante moderno.

Erika Knight is a highly respected British knit and crochet designer, as well as the creator of the Erika Knight yarn collection. Originally from a Fine Art background, with a successful career in the fashion industry, her trend forecasting work reignited her passion for the handmade. With her ‘simple’ ethos, Erika has a unique interpretation of craft: her mission is to simplify and communicate her insight and passion for handknitting with accessible yet enticing projects in order to inspire everyone to experiment and about all enjoy creating. The author of numerous highly acclaimed books on knit, crochet and craft, Erika has lectured at the V&A Museum in London, as well as leading art institutions and universities.

Erika continues to design, write and innovate, working alongside her daughter Arabella from their seaside studio on the South Coast of England where together they act as consultants across the craft industry.
